Are you on Ravelry? Ravelry is a social network for knitters and crocheters. You can connect with other members through groups as well as share patterns, find patterns, and keep up with your stash. It’s one of my newest favorite places to ‘hang out’ on the Internet.

Right now it’s still in beta, so you have to sign up for an invite that usually takes 2 days. Mine took about three but it seemed like forever. You can check your place in line if you start to get antsy, though. It seems they send 1,000 invites a day.

My Ravelry user name is Raesmom. Add me as a friend or drop me a note. I’ve shared one project so far. I have a few to upload that are works in progress. It is a good way to keep up with what you are working on and finding new project ideas.

About Creative Mom Cafe

Creative Mom Cafe is the place to come and try your hand at something you thought you could never do or to get an idea you would never have had on your own. Most of the ideas I bring to 'the Cafe' are simple and for the creativity-challenged but every now and then I will throw in a doozie for those of you who are waiting for it. Every month will have a theme and all ideas that month will tie in to that theme. It may be fun recipes for kids, a scrapbooking idea, an organizational tip or anything else that is in my head that month. I invite you to send your photos of projects you have done and at the end of the month I will highlight one or two "fan" projects! Thanks, stop in the Cafe as often as you can!
