Crafty Tools
I made it to the craft store this weekend. I’m not much of a shopper but can spend hours in a craft store. Thankfully there isn’t one in the town I usually shop at or I would sure enough be broke all the time. Here are a few things I got this weekend(aside from the paint as I was trying to block the mess of my house! Too much crafting to and no time to clean)
I bought some yarn and some stitch markers. I’ve tried using paperclips and other home items to mark stitches but they just don’t work well for me. After reading a lot about the Clover Pom-Pom maker, I was giddy with delight to see it at the craft store. Making pom-poms have come a long way since I was a teenager. We used to just take a piece of cardboard, wrap yarn around it, tie it off in the middle, and cut. I always got less than stellar results so anixous to try a pom-pom maker. So far I only have one project that I’m working on that I need pom-poms but I’m sure I will adding more especially now that I can make them easily.
While I normally enjoy just figuring out how to do techniques for myself, sometimes I realize that it might be easier and faster to use a tool that is made for doing crafty things. That’s what makes visiting the craft store extremely dangerous to my bank account. All the potential of all those crafty tools. It’s just too much to take in.
Fiber crafts are my favorite, so having a pom-pom maker really helps to get those creative juices flowing.
