Edible Play-Doh
My three-year-old has recently discovered that she loves Play-Doh. I have made homemade play dough before and hadn’t realized there were actual edible play dough recipes out there until I watched Jon & Kate plus 8.
Kate did an edible play dough featuring equal parts of milk powder, honey, and peanut butter. She also used flour probably to make it stiffer because I can imagine with the honey and peanut butter you will need something for absorption.
I found a list of edible play dough recipes through FamilyCorner.com. There are several things you can use especially if you are like a lot of us are weary of peanut butter. The Jell-o play dough looks interesting especially since we have some Jell-o that we will probably never use.
FamilyCorner.com has some cute craft ideas. This is one thing I want us to do more with my daughter. Edible play dough can not only provide a fun activity but a cool snack as well.
